Job Summary
Registered Nurse position with JRI’s Developing Abilities program involving community-based care for individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities include coordinating care with service teams, administering medications and treatments, completing documentation and reporting, participating in staff meetings and trainings, promoting community integration, maintaining mandated certifications, and responding to medical emergencies during scheduled hours. Travel within the Middlesex area (Framingham, Waltham, Lexington, Marlboro, Westboro) is required. Must hold an active MA RN license; experience in mental health, developmental disabilities, or Alzheimer’s is preferred. Licensure requirements include MAP, First Aid, CPR, and non-violent crisis intervention certification. Driver’s license and ability to travel for work are required. Competitive compensation range ($79,640–$83,200) with benefits and growth opportunities, including language bonuses and professional-license reimbursements.
Required Qualifications
- Current professional RN license in Massachusetts
- MAP, First Aid, CPR certification and certification in non-violent crisis intervention prevention techniques
- Experience in Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities or Alzheimer’s preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Ability to develop and maintain productive, positive relationships with people from varying backgrounds
- Ability to follow state and JRI policies and procedures
- Ability to work independently without a supervisor or other colleagues present
- Requires a valid driver’s license and ability to drive for work
