Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to a diverse patient population, including assessments, exams, treatment assistance, patient education, and medical record maintenance. Collaborate with physicians and the inter-professional team to coordinate compassionate, efficient, and quality care while demonstrating clinical competence in administering medications, performing procedures, and managing emergencies. Assume leadership roles by participating in or leading unit and shared governance initiatives, serving as charge nurse or preceptor to students and new employees. Must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing with 1–3 years of ER or Med-Surg experience, including at least 2 years in an ER setting and acute care experience in a trauma hospital. Requires ACLS, PALS, and BLS certification, a valid Texas or compact license, and willingness to work nights, days, and nights in Houston, TX. Sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and visa sponsorship available for TN, Mexico, and Canada candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing
- 1 - 3 years . Emergency Room Nursing or Med Surgery Experience
- At least 1 year of acute care experience in a trauma 1, 2, or 3 hospitals
- Must have at least 2 years in an ER setting
- ACLS
- PALS
- BLS
- TX license or compact license required
- Must be OPEN TO NIGHT SHIFTS
- No travel - will work in the hospital
- Should be able to join in 30 Days
- Hiring all shifts - days, nights
- Will hire from Mexico and Canada on a TN visa
- For International candidates - need to have passed NCLEX, IELTS or TOEFL and have a VISA screen certificate ready
