Job Summary
Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU while utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes. Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote a high-quality patient experience. Requires BLS/CPR certification, current Illinois nursing license, and at least two years of ISCU/NICU experience. Shifts include 1900-0730 and 0700-1930 with some weekends, with float capability to Highland Park Nursery.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing
- BSN strongly preferred
- BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL
- 2 plus years current ISCU/NICU experience
