Coordinate educational programs for hospital and resident home employees; document education provided and attendee lists; develop orientation programs; ensure policy and procedures align with standards of practice; manage post-hire physicals for employees; communicate with management to meet departmental needs; plan and conduct general, nursing, and annual orientations; organize continuing education; maintain educational records and HR reports; coordinate CPR, PALS, and ACLS instruction; serve as liaison to the American Heart Association; develop training materials and demonstrations; ensure regulatory requirements (Joint Commission, CMS) are incorporated into curricula; deliver lectures and trainings to hospital staff; collaborate with departments to update curricula and evaluate effectiveness.
