Registered Nurse

Provide care to patients of all age groups and severity levels in the Emergency Department, administering IVs, medications, and treatments while evaluating patient responses to interventions. Respond appropriately to emergencies, transcribe physician orders, and issue appropriate orders using the computer system. Maintain the department in a constant state of readiness through adequate supply checks, equipment inspections, and housekeeping tasks. Communicate effectively with peers, health team members, patients, and visitors, and file mandated reports. Requires on-call, weekend, and holiday rotation with flexibility to work all shifts.
