Job Summary
Registered Nurse (Part-Time, Rotating) in Interventional Radiology at Abington. Provides patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process across specialized IR procedures. Collaborates with patients, families, and the care team to identify learning needs, develops and implements individualized care plans, administers medications and treatments, documents accurately, participates in discharge planning, and contributes to quality and safety initiatives. Requires active RN license in PA/NJ and a specialized nursing diploma; BSN preferred. Rotating shift, on-site in Abington, PA. Emphasis on evidence-based practice, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support navigation of IR care and recovery.
Required Qualifications
- Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent
- Active RN license required in state of practice (PA or NJ)
- BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA)
- Competence in nursing considerations for interventional radiology environments
- Ability to convey respect and collaborate with patients and families in care planning
- Effective communication and teamwork within inter-professional teams
