Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology provides professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation). Directs and supervises other team members and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver age-appropriate care consistent with unit standards. Requires Texas nursing license (or eligibility), BLS, and at least 6 months RN experience; BSN preferred. Responsibilities include clear communication, collaborative relationship-building, accountability for performance, initiative for professional growth, and contributing to a high-quality patient experience. Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a Magnet-designated, referral hospital with a broad set of programs and recognitions.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current additional certifications as required by department
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Work experience: at least 6 months RN experience
