Job Summary
Coordinate and implement care for adult patients in the Interventional Radiology department as a circulator, scrub, or monitor. Perform holding duties by ensuring correct patient prep and verifying timely history and physical documents. Utilize critical judgment to analyze assessments, administer medications to all patients including critically ill ones, and report abnormal findings to physicians. Safely perform hemostasis with or without vascular devices while routinely entering patient orders and charges. Provide independent care for critically ill patients in stressful situations, educate patients and families on perioperative expectations, and escort families to cardiology or cath lab areas. Maintain constant alertness and work in a safe manner while performing other assigned duties.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing

- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
