Job Summary
RN travel-friendly staffing role across Mayo Clinic sites with contingency/float pool responsibilities; provides direct patient care, patient/family education, and care transitions, while demonstrating leadership, mentoring, and quality-improvement activities. Travel to Mayo Clinic sites in AZ, FL, MN, and WI is routine; role requires coordination of nursing care within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model and participation in committees/projects as assigned. Includes opportunities for cross-site collaboration, leadership/education activities, and TN sponsorship with state licensure requirements. Strong communication, teamwork, and EMR skills are essential, as is flexibility to work variable hours across multiple locations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA
- Current multi-state RN licenses: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Arizona and Florida
- BLS certification valid for 90 days post start date
- 1 year of inpatient RN experience required
- RN travel or float pool experience preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends
- Nurse Residency program for new graduates (per posting)
