Job Summary
RN Intern will work closely with the Nurse Manager, Lead Nurses and other nursing department staff to gain exposure to radiation oncology nursing care, greet patients, observe clinic nurses and nurse navigators, assist with patient visits and questionnaires, facilitate communications with referring providers, and support day-to-day department tasks under HIPAA policies, while developing skills in patient care within a proton therapy setting.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Desire to increase knowledge in Radiation Oncology Nursing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Highly motivated with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
