Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and coordination while managing time, supplies, and resources to deliver care consistent with guidelines and licensure provisions. Collaboratively develop individualized plans of care with patients, families, and physicians, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all interventions and outcomes. This role requires a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for hires after April 27, 2025. Basic Life Support Certification is mandatory. The position is based at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado, with a scheduled weekly hour commitment of 36.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025
- Employees hired or promoted prior to this date will be held to the minimum requirements that were in place at the time of their promotion or hire
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
