Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status. Direct interdisciplinary teams through delegation and collaboration while prioritizing care delivery, managing time, supplies, and resources. Collaboratively develop individualized care plans with patients, families, and physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to legal and ethical standards. This role requires a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, with BLS certification. A BSN is required as of the last update, though RNs with less than 12 months of experience have four years to obtain it. The position is based at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado, with scheduled weekly hours of 36.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025
- Employees hired or promoted prior to this date will be held to the minimum requirements that were in place at the time of their promotion or hire
