Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to coordinate patient delivery. Collaboratively develop individualized care plans with patients, families, and physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to legal and ethical standards. This role requires a current Registered Nurse license with BLS certification, and a BSN is required for new hires. Located at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado, the position offers a weekly schedule of 36 hours with an hourly range of $37.45 to $57.29. A 10k sign-on bonus and/or relocation assistance may apply for experienced nurses.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025
- Employees hired or promoted prior to this date will be held to the minimum requirements that were in place at the time of their promotion or hire
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
