Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practice. Direct interdisciplinary teams through delegation and collaboration while managing priorities, supplies, and resources to coordinate patient delivery. Collaboratively develop individualized care plans with patients, families, and physicians, including education and referrals. Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise care plans based on clinical outcomes and satisfaction. Provide accurate, timely documentation and adhere to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards. Maintain BLS certification and transfer compact licenses within 60 days of hire. Requires current RN license, BSN degree, and ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, ambulating patients, and navigating crowded environments. Located at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025
- Employees hired or promoted prior to this date will be held to the minimum requirements that were in place at the time of their promotion or hire
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
