Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status reviews. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to coordinate patient delivery. Provide therapeutic interventions, evidence-based practice, and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Collaborate with physicians, families, and support staff to develop individualized care plans and ensure patient education. Perform patient transfers, ambulation, and equipment manipulation while maintaining manual dexterity and standing for extended periods. Maintain a 36-hour weekly schedule at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO, with an hourly range of $37.45 to $57.29. Current RN licensure and BLS certification are required; BSN degree is mandatory for new hires.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025
- Employees hired or promoted prior to this date will be held to the minimum requirements that were in place at the time of their promotion or hire
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
