Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for mixed acuity units using the nursing process, interdisciplinary collaboration, and evidence-based practice. Direct care delivery by delegating tasks, managing resources, and coordinating with physicians, families, and support staff. Monitor physical, social, and psychological status while documenting accurately and adhering to legal and ethical standards. Manage complex conditions including sepsis, DKA, and BIPAP, requiring strong critical thinking and manual dexterity. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and BSN within four years. Night shift with $20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced candidates. Located at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025
- Employees hired or promoted prior to this date will be held to the minimum requirements that were in place at the time of their promotion or hire
