Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the physical, social, and psychological status of patients on a mixed acuity care unit using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and coordination while managing time, supplies, and resources to deliver patient care consistent with licensure provisions. Collaboratively develop individualized plans of care involving patients, families, and physicians, then evaluate patient response to interventions and revise plans as needed. Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with legal and ethical standards while operating complex medical equipment such as BIPAP and insulin pumps. Requires a current RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN; offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced nurses.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
