REGISTERED NURSE - INTERMEDIATE CARE UNIT - FT DAYS (62348)

Provide safe and effective patient care in the Intensive and Intermediate Care setting through assessment, goal setting, and outcome evaluation for adult and geriatric populations. Utilize the nursing process to ensure optimal care, engage in evidence-based practices, and provide leadership within professional standards. Support patient rights, including cultural and ethical diversity, while assessing and addressing family learning needs. Perform age-appropriate care, complete accurate documentation, adhere to infection control standards, and respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response Team calls. Requires Illinois licensure, BLS, ACLS, and 12 Lead EKG training, with one year of telemetry or critical care experience preferred. Flexible with scheduling and assignments as necessary.
