Job Summary
Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for critically ill patients across the ICU while administering medications and treatments per physician orders. Maintain accurate patient records, educate patients and families on medications and post-care instructions, and apply critical thinking in a high-acuity environment. Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. This role requires an active Florida RN license and minimum one year of recent ICU experience, with rotating night shifts at a 392-bed Level II Trauma Center serving Pasco County.
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license, or compact RN license with active FL license obtained within 60 days of hire
- Nursing Diploma or ASN
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience in an acute care setting
- American Heart Association BLS
- American Heart Association ACLS
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification
