Job Summary
Provide nursing care for patients through the administration and implementation of medical investigation and therapeutic programs. Deliver organization, direction, supervision, and collaboration in planning and implementing nursing best practices within the Intensive Care Unit. Develop and implement nursing care, treatment, and discharge plans while teaching clinical skills to patients. Maintain current CPR certification and hold a Diploma or Baccalaureate degree in Nursing with at least one year of ICU experience. Apply knowledge of general nursing, physical health, and psycho-social well-being to support patient recovery.

- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to teach nursing practices and other relevant clinical skills
- Ability to develop and implement nursing care/treatment/discharge plans
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing
- Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Diploma/Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
- Minimum of (1) one year nursing experience related to the assigned specialty area(s) or specific online course completion for the specialty area(s)
- Currently registered or able to be licensed with Yukon Registered Nurses Association (YRNA)
- Current C.P.R certification
