Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Administer safe, accurate, and timely medications and IVs while maintaining a therapeutic environment for patients, families, and coworkers. Communicate clearly with the team, co-workers, patients, and family members to ensure complete and accurate patient information is conveyed. Build collaborative relationships, take initiative for professional growth, and assume responsibility for the nursing components of patient education. Adhere to hospital standards and policies to promote a cooperative work environment and improve the patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program
