Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the ICU providing expert patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, while coordinating with the health-care team and supervising LPNs/CNAs. Responsibilities include communicating compassionately, developing individualized care plans, adhering to guidelines and documentation, participating in clinical conferences, and delivering care in a hospital setting with potential floating to med/surg based on census. Requires BSN within specified timeframe, Montana RN licensure, BLS on hire, and ACLS/TNCC/TCAR qualifications within defined timelines. Part-time night shift with weekends and holidays rotating; location at St James Hospital, Butte, MT, with an ongoing emphasis on safety, teamwork, and adherence to hospital and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- BSN from an accredited program within 4 years (unless exemptions)
- Montana RN license
- BLS certification on hire
- ACLS within 9 months for ICU/ED RNs
- TNCC or TCAR within 12 months for ICU/ED/RNs
- Critical Care experience preferred
