Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU with floating to med/surg; responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care, supervising LPNs/CNAs, participating in clinical team conferences, and ensuring compliance with guidelines. Requires BSN within specified timeframe, Montana RN license, BLS, ACLS within 9 months, TNCC/TCAR within 12 months, and strong clinical skills in critical care environments. Part-time night shift with weekend/holiday rotation at St James Hospital, Butte, MT; salary range $33.38-$79.73/hour, 24 hours/week, comprehensive benefits, and equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- BSN degree from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service
- Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License
- BLS Certification upon hire
- ACLS required within 9 months of hire for all ICU/ED RN’s
- TNCC or TCAR within 12 months of transfer or hire for all ICU/ED/RNs
- Must maintain TNCC/TCAR or an equivalent that is recognized by the American College of Surgeons
- Critical Care Experience - highly preferred
- Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team to achieve patient-focused outcomes
- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate effectively
- Regular attendance on site during scheduled hours
- Manual dexterity and physical ability to perform required tasks
- Must be able to lift and transfer patients
- Shift flexibility (part-time nights, weekends, holidays)
