Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU unit assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care, coordinating with the health team and supervising LPNs/CNAs. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, participating in clinical team conferences, complying with evaluation and documentation guidelines, and maintaining high-quality patient-focused outcomes. The role requires a BSN within defined timelines (or equivalent experience) and active MT RN licensure, with BLS at hire and ACLS/TNCC/TCAR as specified. The position supports a part-time night shift with weekend/holiday rotation at St James Hospital in Butte, MT, and may involve floating to med/surg based on census. Critical care experience is highly preferred; the job emphasizes teamwork, accurate documentation, patient safety, and effective communication. The hourly range currently listed is $33.38-$79.73, with benefits eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- BSN degree from an accredited program
- Current Montana RN license
- BLS certification upon hire
- ACLS within 9 months of hire
- TNCC or TCAR within 12 months of transfer or hire
- Critical Care Experience highly preferred
