Job Summary

Assess, recognize, and address patients' psychological and physical needs while developing individualized treatment plans in the ICU. Communicate compassionately with patients and families, oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs, and participate in clinical team conferences. Comply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines while interpreting safety rules and technical procedures. Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to achieve patient-focused outcomes, managing alarms and equipment in a busy environment. Shifts include nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.

Required Qualifications

  • BSN Degree from an accredited program
  • Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS certification
  • TNCC or TCAR certification
  • Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations
  • Ability to write reports
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, or regulatory agencies
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
  • Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
