Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •BSN Degree from an accredited program
• •Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License
• •BLS Certification
• •ACLS certification
• •TNCC or TCAR certification
• •Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
• •Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• •Ability to read, analyze, interpret periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations
• •Ability to write reports
• •Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
• •Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, or regulatory agencies
• •Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• •Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• •Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• •Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• •Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• •Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
• •Ability to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
• •Ability to frequently interact with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require verbal communication and hearing and understanding spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately
• •Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
• •Ability to frequently use computers and type for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc
• •Ability to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
• •Ability to bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment including items of varying weights up to and including heavy items
• •Ability to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment
• •Ability to push/pull gurneys and portable equipment including heavy items
• •Ability to navigate crowded and busy rooms full of equipment and power cords on the floor
• •Ability to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
• •Night shift availability
• •Weekend availability
• •Holiday availability on a rotating basis
• •Floating to med/surg depending on census
• •Compliance with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines
• •Compliance with hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures
• •Compliance with all applicable Intermountain policies and expectations
• •Acknowledgment that outside employment or activities may not interfere with job responsibilities or create a conflict of interest with Intermountain
