Job Summary
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintains professional accountability for patients. Evaluates care effectiveness provided by direct care givers, coordinates patient care with other departments, and upholds patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy Service Standards. Requires RN licensure in hiring state, BLS, and unit-specific certifications (ACLS/NRP/ENPC/etc.) with capacity to meet lifting, standing, and mobility demands in a hospital ICU setting. Eligible candidates may possess an ADN, Diploma, or BSN and must maintain licensure in accordance with state requirements. Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (associate's degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Licensure: current RN license in hiring state/compact
- Certifications: BLS at minimum and other unit-specific certifications as required
