Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in Intensive Care Night duties provides highly professional, technical nursing care to critically ill patients using the nursing process, collaborates with multidisciplinary team, supervises others, ensures clear communication, and supports a patient-centered, safe care environment while pursuing professional growth and open, goal-oriented teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
- Current Basic Life Support Certification and ACLS
- Additional certifications as required by department
- Minimum 12 months ICU/critical care RN experience or Nurse Residency Program completion
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- ACLS
- BLS
- ICU/critical care nursing experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program
- Knowledgeable about hospital policies, procedures, and nursing care standards
