Job Summary
The Registered Nurse Instructor is responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality instruction and engaging in program improvement processes. Qualifications include a Master of Science Degree in Nursing, BLS certification, and direct patient care experience. Required Qualifications
- Master of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN)
- BLS for Healthcare providers
- Direct patient care experience within the previous five (5) year in the nursing area to which assigned
- One year's continuous, full time or its equivalent experience providing direct patient care as a RN in designated nursing area
- One (1) year experience teaching courses related to registered nursing or completion of post baccalaureate course which includes practice in teaching registered nursing
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret materials related to area of expertise
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and external stakeholders
