Registered Nurse- Inpatient Unit ( Day Shift)

RN, Hospice House on the Inpatient Unit with Day Shift providing direct patient and family care within an Interdisciplinary Group. Responsibilities include assessing patient/family needs, coordinating the Plan of Care with the IDG, and delivering palliative and supportive care. Key duties cover educating patients and families about disease processes and care, reporting changes to IDG, evaluating referrals/admissions for level of care, preparing for patient death and body transport, providing bereavement support, delivering concise reports to IDG, ensuring professional care, supervising LPNs and aides, and adhering to all regulatory and company policies. Requires active RN license, in-patient/hospice experience preferred, EMR/EHR proficiency, ability to lift and travel as needed, and flexible scheduling.
