Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehab

Job Summary
Provide inpatient rehabilitation nursing on a 35-bed unit, collaborating closely with PTs, OTs, MDs, and other team members to educate and coach patients and families toward independence in activities of daily living. Focus on guiding patients through treatments, documenting progress, and supporting transitions home. Work with a multidisciplinary team to care for patients with brain injuries, strokes, spinal cord injuries, and multi-trauma/illness requiring intensive rehabilitation. Responsibilities include contributing to a positive patient experience, maintaining safe patient handling practices, participating in preceptorships and continuing education, and upholding strong patient ratios. The role offers on-site parking, relocation incentives, and a commitment to staff development in a Burlington, Vermont setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont
- ADN required
- BSN preferred
- appropriate experience in specific clinical area
