Job Summary
Registered Nurse Inpatient PRN at Hospice House in Summerfield, FL. Provide 12-hour shift inpatient care with a minimum of 4 shifts per month (including 2 weekend shifts). Demonstrate patient history-taking, age-specific assessments, Plan of Care development with the patient/family/IDT, administration and documentation of medications, patient/family teaching, and collaboration with nursing leadership and partnering facilities. Supervise LPNs and Home Health Aides, maintain staffing compliance, participate in disaster preparedness and regulatory activities, and uphold palliative/end-of-life care principles in alignment with policy.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (AA/AS) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Minimum of 1 year of active nursing experience; hospice/terminally ill care preferred
- Florida licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
- Ability to remain flexible and work at alternate facility as needed
