Registered Nurse / Inpatient / PRN Days

Registered Nurse in inpatient OR-focused role (PRN Days). Responsibilities include performing ongoing systematic assessments, formulating goal-directed plans based on nursing diagnoses and patient outcomes, implementing care to achieve outcomes, establishing priorities based on patient needs and available resources, and documenting actions. Works within a team to deliver patient care, maintains BLS and ACLS as required, attends mandatory in-services and staff meetings, remains flexible to new ideas, adheres to patient rights policies, and follows physician orders with professional conduct. Must hold a Texas RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS (or complete within 60 days). Requires 2 years of experience, organizational skills, knowledge of medical/surgical care, de-escalation training within 30 days of hire; CMSRN certification preferred. Physical demands include lifting/carrying over 20 pounds, pushing/pulling over 25 pounds, and standing/walking several hours; reasonable accommodations may be provided.
