Job Summary
Execute specialized orthopedic care by managing post-surgical patients, monitoring neurovascular status, and administering evidence-based protocols to ensure optimal recovery. Coordinate multidisciplinary rehabilitation with surgeons, physical therapists, and occupational therapists while advocating for safe patient transitions and discharge planning. Adjust care plans to support early mobility, manage acute pain, and prevent complications through close observation of traction and immobilization devices. Assess discharge needs and educate families on safe transfer techniques and weight-bearing restrictions. Full-time day shift at Ascension St. John Jenks in Jenks, OK.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification for BLS
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Professional licensure at time of hire
