Registered Nurse - Innovations - Straight Night, Straight Weekend

Provide individualized nursing care to patients on a 32-bed adult medical-surgical-trauma unit, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to coordinate care for clinically complex patients, including post-op bariatrics, trauma, amputations, and GI bleeds. Manage patient triage, education, and follow-up across the continuum of care while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain competency in department-specific standards and support the unit's innovation projects, such as virtual nursing and smart hospital beds. New grads are welcome.
