Registered Nurse, Infusion

Provide high quality, skilled infusion therapy, including starting intravenous lines, accessing ports, and administering medications, treatments, and contrast agents. Monitor patient status during infusions, accurately collect clinical data, and report abnormalities to the Medical Provider. Develop and organize a plan of care in consultation with the treating physician while ensuring proper documentation in the patient medical record. Maintain infection control precautions, coordinate necessary accommodations for effective communication, and participate in Quality Assurance activities. Deliver in-service education to the interdisciplinary team and complete mandatory training programs.
