Job Summary
Infusion RN focused on oncology/hematology patient care, including chemotherapy administration, patient assessment, education, coordination of care, and symptom management. Works within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based nursing care, educate patients and families, document and ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in care planning and quality initiatives. Requires ability to administer chemotherapy, use IV therapy skills, monitor labs, and provide telephone triage and education as part of ambulatory oncology services. BSN strongly preferred; minimum 1 year RN experience; BLS required; oncology/ambulatory experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as a registered Nurse in Massachusetts or New Hampshire as appropriate
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing strongly preferred (BSN)
- Minimum of 1-year recent RN experience
- Ambulatory and/or oncology experience preferred
- Professional nursing certification preferred (OCN, BMTCN, CPHON, AOCNP, CRNI, RN-BC)
- AHA BLS required (ACLS accepted as minimum requirement)
