Job Summary
Infusion Center Registered Nurse providing direct patient care with assessments and ongoing nursing interventions for infusion therapies. Responsibilities include administering IV medications, biologics, and specialty infusions, peripheral and central venous access, monitoring for adverse reactions, patient and family education, accurate documentation in the EHR, and coordination of care across disciplines. Role involves indirect patient care activities, patient navigation, and compliance with safety and infection-control standards. Requires NJ RN license, ACLS, and infusion/chemotherapy certifications; 1–3 years infusion experience; BSN preferred. Schedule offers full-time, flexible shifts; Paramus, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–3 years infusion nursing experience
- Experience administering transfusions, specialty infusions; chemotherapy experience strongly preferred
- Excellent IV access skills including implanted central venous access devices (Portacath, PICC)
- NC RN license in good standing (NJ RN license)
- ACLS certification required
- IV or Chemotherapy certification required
- BSN or active enrollment in BSN program with completion within three years preferred
