Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse to support the Medical Department in maintaining clinic flow and provider productivity. Responsibilities include 90% triage of IHC patients and 10% supporting the RN Care Coordinator, assisting with prescriptions, abnormal test results and referrals, conducting walk-in and phone triage, coordinating patient flow and scheduling, assisting the Back Office, supporting follow-up of abnormal tests and cancer-detection program patients, care coordination for ER/admissions, processing imaging orders, reporting to Public Health, patient education on chronic disease management and medication adherence, following 911 protocol for ER events, maintaining the Emergency Cart, assisting Immunization Manager with IZ clinic, aiding in audits, reporting, and quality improvement projects, and participating as part of a Team-Based approach. Requires California RN license, 2 years’ clinic nursing experience, 2 years in a supervisory role, EHR proficiency, and (bonus) English/Spanish bilingual ability. Normal hours 8:00 am–5:00 pm with potential variation; preference given to American Indians/Alaska Natives per policy.
