Registered Nurse in Pain Clinic Full-Time

Registered Nurse in a pain clinic provides direct patient care and care coordination: performs vitals, medication reviews, pill counts, post-procedure checks, follow-up assessments, and patient education; serves as the primary nursing point of contact for ongoing care coordination; assists with patient assessments, medication reconciliation, and review of medical histories; monitors treatment response, side effects, and adherence to care plans; coordinates referrals, imaging, diagnostic testing, and specialty care; collaborates with providers to develop and modify individualized pain management care plans; educates patients on pain conditions, medications, safe use of controlled substances and interventional procedures; promotes self-management and shared decision-making; processes medication refills per clinic protocols; assists with intrathecal pump refills; maintains EMR documentation; communicates effectively with staff and external partners; participates in meetings, quality improvement, and regulatory activities; supports mission and values; performs other duties as assigned.
