Registered Nurse in Pain Clinic Full-Time

Provide direct nursing care in a pain management clinic, including vitals, medication reviews, pill counts, post-procedure checks, follow-up assessments, and patient education; serve as the primary nursing point of contact for patients requiring ongoing care coordination; assist with patient assessments, medication reconciliation, and review of medical histories; monitor treatment response, side effects, complications, and care plan adherence; coordinate referrals, imaging, diagnostic testing, and specialty care; collaborate with providers to develop, implement, and modify individualized pain management care plans; educate patients on pain conditions, medications, safe use of controlled substances and interventional procedures; promote patient self-management strategies and shared decision-making; process medication refills in accordance with clinic protocols, provider guidance, and regulatory requirements; assist physicians with intrathecal pump refills; maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR; communicate effectively with providers, MAs, schedulers, and external partners; participate in clinic meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance activities; actively support and uphold the mission and core values of KSSH; perform other duties as assigned.
