Registered Nurse - Immediate Hiring

As a Registered Nurse (RN) within Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS), you will uphold the mission, vision, and values while delivering patient-centered care. Responsibilities include applying the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, performing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation), coordinating care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and providing health teaching and promotion. The role emphasizes leadership, ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, and professional development. The unit focus areas include cardiovascular inpatient care across several cardiac units, with a need to adhere to professional practice guidelines, ensure quality outcomes, and participate in evidence-based practice. Current CT RN licensure is required; BSN is preferred and clinical specialty certification is highly encouraged.
