Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in a high-volume Immediate Care/Walk-In setting, including triage of acute illnesses or injuries, rapid assessments, and collaboration with providers to deliver timely care. Administer medications, vaccines, IV fluids, and treatments; assist with urgent procedures (wound care, splinting, EKGs); perform point-of-care testing and manage lab follow-ups. Accurately document findings in the EMR, monitor patient condition, and escalate as needed. Promote patient education on acute concerns, medication use, and follow-up care; uphold safety protocols, infection prevention, and emergency response procedures. Must be an adaptable, calm, team-oriented RN with strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills; proficient in EMR and basic IT applications.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Licensure: Registered Nurse licensed in NH, MA, or state equivalent; BLS/CPR Certification required
- Experience: 1 year nursing experience required; urgent care or emergency nursing preferred
- Skills: Rapid triage and decision-making, strong clinical judgment, effective communication, compassionate patient care, EMR proficiency
