Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in a high-volume Immediate Care/Walk-In setting by triaging patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries, both in-person and via telephone. Perform rapid assessments, administer medications and IV fluids, and assist with urgent procedures including wound care, splinting, and EKGs. Conduct point-of-care testing, manage lab follow-ups, and document clinical findings accurately in the EMR while monitoring patients for condition changes. Shift runs 9am-7pm on one weekday.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse licensed in NH, NLC state, or MA
- BLS/CPR certification
- 1 year of nursing experience
- Skilled in rapid triage and decision-making
- Calm under pressure and excellent in fast-paced environments
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Proficient in EMR systems and basic Windows applications
Desired Qualifications
- BSN
- urgent care or emergency nursing experience
- RN-BC certification
- CCTM certification
