Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in a high-volume Immediate Care/Walk-In setting; triage patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries, both in-person and via telephone; perform rapid assessments and collaborate with providers to deliver timely, efficient care; administer medications, vaccines, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed; assist with urgent procedures, including wound care, splinting, and EKGs; conduct point-of-care testing, collect specimens, and manage lab follow-ups; document clinical findings and interventions accurately in the EMR; monitor patients for changes in condition and escalate care when necessary; promote patient education for acute concerns, medication use, and follow-up care; support safety protocols, infection prevention, and emergency response procedures; strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
- Registered Nurse licensed in NH, NLC state, or MA
- BLS/CPR certification required
- 1 year of nursing experience required; urgent care or emergency nursing preferred
