Job Summary
RN provides patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care in an IMCU setting during 7pm-7am shifts. Responsibilities include conducting thorough patient assessments, administering medications, coordinating with physicians and the healthcare team, responding to emergencies (CPR/code team), maintaining infection control, and educating patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care. Requires state RN licensure and BCLS; ACLS/PALS preferred. Emphasizes adherence to nursing process, documentation, safety, and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
