Job Summary
Registered Nurse – IMCU in Williamson Health in Brentwood, TN. This full-time night-shift role coordinates, implements, and plans nursing care, requiring TN licensure and a nursing diploma/degree. The position requires BLS within 90 days, ACLS within 6 months (various units), and unit-specific certifications (NVCI, TNCC/ENPC, PALS, CCRN/CCP, ONS chemo/immunotherapy) within specified timelines. Experience requirements vary by unit (adult medical-surgical, pediatric ER, critical care, Oncology, etc.). The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, planning of care and discharge needs, medication administration, documentation, and ensuring safety and quality in multiple care settings. A strong ability to work under pressure and adapt nursing care to diverse patient populations is expected. All standard care duties, telemetry, and use of hospital systems are included, with an emphasis on compassionate, evidence-based nursing practice.
Required Qualifications
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
- Licensed in the State of Tennessee
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- ACLS within 6 months for various units
- NVCI certification within 6 months for certain units
- TNCC or ENPC within 6 months for pediatric/ER
- PALS within 6 months for pediatric ER
- CCRN/CCP certification within two years for critical care
- ONS chemo/immunotherapy certification within one year for Oncology
- At least one year of emergency experience preferred for Adult Emergency Room
- PALS within 6 months for Pediatric ER
- ENPC or TNCC within 6 months for Pediatric ER
- TNCC Preferred
- ACLS within 6 months for ER and other units
- PALS within 6 months for ER
