Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient care assessments, establish therapeutic rapport, and promote patient independence by teaching self-care skills and disease processes. Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and visitors while adhering to infection control protocols and medication regulations. Manage equipment preventive maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and ensure a safe, clean environment by complying with all facility policies and procedures. This full-time, day shift role within the Intermediate Care Unit at Mohawk Valley Health System requires current New York State licensure and offers a salary range of $38 to $54 per hour.
