Registered Nurse - IMCU - Full Time - Days (UTICA, NY)

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, establish care goals, and teach patients and families regarding disease processes, medications, and self-care skills. Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support while promoting patient independence and adhering to therapeutic standards to measure health outcomes. Manage equipment preventive maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and maintain inventories following manufacturer instructions. Ensure safety by strictly following infection control policies, medication administration regulations, and universal precautions. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to plan, promote, and evaluate quality patient care. Requires current New York State licensure, an associate or bachelor's degree in nursing, and one year of related experience. Shifts are 12.5 hours on days at the Intermediate Care Unit within Mohawk Valley Health System.
