Job Summary
Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision. Emphasizes Patient Centered Care as the foundation for all nursing care. This role operates within Valley Hospital, part of VHS/UHS, and contributes to the hospital's mission of high-quality patient care and ongoing professional education. Located in the Las Vegas area with affiliation to a teaching hospital environment and opportunities for growth, residency programs, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing license (RN) in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Appropriate state nursing license or eligibility to obtain
- Ability to provide safe, competent nursing care as per facility policies and standards
- Experience guiding or supervising healthcare staff preferred
